Department of Radiology - Jeffrey J. Brown, M.D., F.A.C.R.

Dr. Jeffrey J. BrownDr. Jeffrey J. Brown is Professor and Chair of the Department of Radiology. Dr. Brown received his undergraduate degree in 1979 from the University of California, Irvine, where he was also a member of the Varsity Crew. He received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego in 1983 and completed a research fellowship supported by a Cardiovascular Radiology National Research Service Award the following year. He stayed at UCSD for his radiology residency, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Brown completed a fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging in 1988 at the University of California, San Francisco. He joined the faculty of Washington University School of Medicine in 1988, where he served as co-director of body MRI, director of clinical research, and director of the research residency program. He also graduated from the Washington University Executive MBA program in 1999. He joined the Department of Radiology at Saint Louis University in 2011.

Dr. Brown's area of clinical interest is body imaging, with an emphasis on abdominal MRI, MR angiography and MR contrast agents.
